2. Eligibility for Returns

• Time Limit:
  • EU/EEA Countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Italy, France, Germany): Returns accepted within 14 calendar days of delivery (cooling-off period) for change-of-mind requests; defective products eligible for return within 2 years of purchase (per EU Consumer Rights Directive).
  • United Kingdom: Returns accepted within 14 calendar days of delivery (cooling-off period, per Consumer Rights Act 2015); defective products covered for 2 years.
  • United States: Returns accepted within 30 calendar days of delivery (compliant with FTC Mail/Internet Order Rules); defective products covered by 1-year warranty.
  • Australia: Returns accepted within 30 calendar days of delivery (per Australian Consumer Law); defective products eligible for refund/exchange/repair for a reasonable period (minimum 1 year).
  • Canada: Returns accepted within 30 calendar days of delivery (compliant with federal/provincial consumer laws); defective products covered by 1-year statutory warranty.
• Product Condition:
  • Unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging (including all accessories: mounting brackets, wiring harnesses, user manuals, warranty cards).
  • No scratches, damage, or signs of tampering (products affecting resale value may be rejected or incur a 15% restocking fee).
• Proof of Purchase:
  • Valid order number, invoice, or delivery confirmation must be provided.

3. Return Process

1. Submit Return Request:
   
   
   Send an email to tapaodu@gmail.com with the subject line "RETURN REQUEST - [Order Number]". Include:
   • Order number and purchase date
   • Product model and quantity
   • Reason for return (e.g., change of mind, defect, wrong item)
   • Photos/videos (if claiming defects)
   • Shipping address and contact phone number
2. Receive RMA Authorization:
   
   
   Our team will respond within 2 business days to confirm eligibility and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without a valid RMA number will be rejected.
3. Ship the Product:
   • Pack the product securely with the RMA number clearly marked on the outer package.
   • Shipping Costs:
     • Defective/wrong products: We cover return shipping costs (provide tracking number for reimbursement).
     • Change-of-mind returns: Customer bears shipping costs (we are not liable for lost/damaged packages; insured shipping is recommended).
   • Recommended Carriers: Use tracked shipping services (e.g., USPS, Australia Post, Royal Mail, DHL) to avoid delivery disputes.

   We will inspect the returned product within 3 business days of receipt. You will be notified via email if the return is approved or rejected (with reasons).
5. Refund/Exchange Processing:
   • Refunds: Processed within 5-7 business days of approval, issued to the original payment method (bank transfer times may vary by issuer).
   • Exchanges: Shipped within 3 business days of approval (free of charge for defective/wrong items).

• Germany/France/Italy: Defective products may be repaired, replaced, or refunded (per EU Directive 2019/771).
• Sweden/Norway/Finland: Cooling-off period extended to 30 days for custom-ordered spotlights (must be unused).
• United Kingdom: Refunds include original shipping costs (per Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
• United States: California residents entitled to additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
• Australia: Statutory warranties cannot be excluded (per Australian Consumer Law); no restocking fees for defective items.
• Canada: Quebec residents covered by the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec) – returns processed within 10 business days.

• Custom-made spotlights (unless defective).
• Products damaged due to improper installation, misuse, or accidents.
• Items without original packaging or missing accessories.
• Clearance/sale items (unless defective, per statutory rights).
